Majority of Real Estate Agents Driven to the Bottle: Rachel Hite Steps In with a Plan of Action

Majority of Real Estate Agents Driven to the Bottle

In an epic plot twist, it seems real estate agents aren’t just marketing houses – they’re drowning their sorrows too! Recent studies indicate a significant increase in alcohol consumption amongst real estate agents. Can we blame the erratic housing market or is it the ridiculously colour-coordinated open house decor driving them to drink?

A Cry for Help: Rachel Hite Steps In

In a heroic attempt to rescue our inebriated property gurus, real estate coach Rachel Hite swooped in to provide some advice on reducing their consumption or going totally teetotal in 2024. And no, her tips didn’t include substituting your evening whisky with morning espresso (although that may be a good place to start!).

Detailed Plan of Action

Rachel offered numerous practical guidelines for real estate agents to tread lightly in their path away from the bottle. These include setting goals, understanding the underlying reason behind excessive alcohol consumption, developing new habits, and finding the right support network. Some agents were upset that this didn’t mean networking over a glass of wine!

Finding New Ways to Cope

One of the central points Rachel made was about finding alternatives to alcohol that could help deal with stress and anxiety. This includes healthy living, exercise, and hobbies. No word yet on whether dodging cranky clients should be counted as aerobic exercise.

Gain Support to Maintain Sobriety

Lastly, Hite emphasized the importance of attaining and maintaining sobriety through support from friends, family, and professional counselors. Because there’s nothing like a helping hand when you’re battling to put down that Pinot!

As the sun sets on this slightly tipsy tale, it leaves one to wonder. In a profession where folks help others find their perfect home, shouldn’t they also find their perfect balance in life? Echoing Rachel Hite’s sage words, it’s high time real estate’s ‘happy-hour heroes’ trade their stemware for stability in 2024. After all, nobody wants to negotiate their dream home with an agent who can’t remember if the bathroom was on the right or the left, let alone how many zeroes were in the price tag. Now, if only there was a happy hour for double espresso…
