Tinsel Town Celeb Sells Spanish-Style L.A. Mansion, Eyes Bel Air’s Ritzy Villas: Golden Globe Winning Actor on a Real Estate Rampage

  • The shining star of the Hollywood real estate market this week is none other than Golden Globe-winning actor, who crushed the role in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things”. The actor has put up a classy, Spanish-style hacienda in the posh LA’s Comstock Hills for sale. I guess their performance wasn’t enough drama, they have now decided to dive into the cutthroat world of LA real estate.
  • This is not just an ordinary celebrity house. It’s decked out with original architect-designed accents that would make any reveller swoon, and even a casual visitor weak in the knees. A handcrafted wooden door that screams ‘Epic Entrance’, a first-mover advantage if you were ever to host the Oscars after-party.
  • The house boasts exquisite rolling lawns that stretch as far as the eye can see. Oh, and just in case you missed it, the house comes with panoramic views of the city skyline. The house seems like it’s got everything, except the golden gate bridge.
  • The actor isn’t retiring from the “Glamour-on-demand” life, rather looking to upgrade. After all, the competition isn’t just on the silver screen but in LA streets too. The “Poor Things” star is reportedly buying a super-villa in Bel-Air’s Billionaires Row. For a moment there, I thought we had lost one to a peaceful countryside living.
  • Let’s not forget, with great investment comes great taxes! Out goes the actor’s hefty cheque signing to the LA’s tax department. Well, what to expect from a city that showers love in glitzy taxes!

A Spanish Hacienda on Sale, A Villa in Billionaires Row on the Cards?

In my hot take, this romantic comedy may not have the typical break-up-makeup ups and downs, but it’s got all the right elements for great TV drama! An actor swapping a Spanish-style casa for a swanky Bel-Air mansion is setting the stage for an exciting episode of Hollywood Lifestyle: Real Estate Edition. I call it ‘From Glamour to Glitz: An Actor’s Real Estate Journey’. One thing’s for sure, this Golden Globe-winner is keeping things interesting, both on and off the screen. So, if you’re not too busy striking the right balance between baking banana bread and binging the latest Netflix series during the lockdown, perhaps it’s time to consider a career in Hollywood real estate. With homes changing faster than film sets, you will never know a dull moment! And remember, should you ever run out of binge-watch material, there’s always Los Angeles – the City that knows how to turn real estate into hit reality TV.
