Inside Real Estate (IRE), a bit of a trapper in the tech wilderness, bagged a big one! They’ve acquired Amitree, the tech-whiz-kids known for their email productivity-solution suavely named “Folio”.

Although no one’s mentioned how many zebras (or shall we say, dollars) were exchanged in this deal, there are certainly a lot of pearly whites flashing around both the IRE and the Amitree camps.

Folio: a Genius or Just Skynet in Disguise?
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock in tech-ville, Folio is the wingman every realtor didn’t know they needed. Automating scheduling, document organization and workflow improvement, this email plugin’s making all the human assistants wonder if they still have jobs – or whether Skynet just got real serious.

All Under One Digital Roof
Following the gobbler-gobblee deal, Amitree is now huddling under the same digital roof as Inside Real Estate. But fear not, Amitree fans! Folio will continue to act all independent, just with a more muscular backing (like Timon with Pumbaa, if you catch my drift).

Old is gold, they say, and it seems IRE is taking the proverb quite literally. They have been on a continuous expansion binge, this being but their latest conquest. So, if they were an Instagram Influencer, they’d definitely be on that glow-up journey with hashtags aplenty.

As we go down the rabid rabbit hole of technology and real estate, we can’t help but crack a grin at how a once handshake-and-hardcopy industry is now as digital as a Bitcoin bank. IRE acquiring Amitree and their pretty-nifty tool, Folio, is like watching the high school jock joining forces with the nerd squad–definitely intriguing and possibly unstoppable. Safe to say, if you’re a realtor who’s still relying on your trusty but slightly rusty Filofax, brace yourself for a storm of new-age tech-ism.
Now, I’m off to test if this Folio guy can really manage my chaotic inbox or if it’s just another high-tech version of a paperweight. In this brave new world of technological advancements, the software carnage and survival of the fittest is a sight to behold, from a safe, non-digital distance of course. Remember folks, keep your WiFi strong and your humor stronger!
